My $1,000,000 Facebook Sales Funnel
I just got this really cool award that I want to tell you about. It’s from ClickFunnels for earning over a million dollars with a single sales funnel. I actually want to show you and explain to you how we made a million dollars from one sales funnel.
For those of you guys that don’t know what a sales funnel is, it’s a website that takes people down a sales process. Imagine having a really good sales person walk each person down a sales process, unlike a website, where you get there and there’s all this different stuff that you can click. You can click on home, about us, contact, our prices, etc.
So, if you want to make a million dollars in sales funnel, you need to start with a million dollars in your head, and break it down from there starting with the price of your product.
For example, a lot of people think that it’s easier to sell a product that ranges from $20-$100. So if you want to make a million dollars, and you sell a product for $20, you have to sell 50,000 products in a year in order to make a million dollars, which is crazy right?
If you want to make a million dollars and you sell a $100 product, then you have to sell 10,000 products a year, which is still a ton.
So what I decided to do in order to cut back on the amount I needed to sell is just simply sell more of a high-ticket item. In our funnel, the majority of those sales were $5,000 sales, and if you do the math, you only have to sell 200 of your product to make a million dollars.
That’s the simple mathematics behind it.
For my sales funnel, we offered people a really cool free training which in order to watch, they had to opt-in for using their email address. Then, on the second page, we put together a presentation, which is an automated presentation.
This type of funnel is referred to as an automated webinar funnel. The cool part about it is we did the presentation one time, and it was seen tens of thousands of times.
After the presentation, we gave the viewer an opportunity to speak with someone on our sales team over the phone about their specific goals and what they were hoping to accomplish. If it felt like a good fit, our sales team would show them a $5,000 coaching program they could invest into.
So, who does this work for? This works for a lot of different people. We also use this exact strategy for a direct sales company we’re apart of. If you’re a local business, like a chiropractor or dentist, this same process will work for you.
If you think about any sales funnel, it always seems about the same, right? Your offering them something for free to get them in the door, and then you’re selling them something once they’re in.
It’s how Chick-Fil-A become a huge, multi-billion dollar company. The way that they grew their business is by offering something for free which in their case was chicken on a stick. The more chicken on a stick they’d give away, the more people would come into their sales funnel, which was the restaurant. If they wanted more, what would they do? Buy chicken, potentially grab a drink and a side. See the power in this?
