This is Why I Want You to Fail
Here’s why I secretly deep down really, really want you to fail.
You’re thinking, “Adam, you want me to fail, that’s so rude of you.”
But yes, I want you to fail, and here’s why..
When you have success in something, you celebrate and party, but don’t really think about WHY you were successful.
When you fail however, you ponder and you learn from it.
I first learned this first from a guy named Jim Rohn. He’s brilliant, you guys should look him up if you aren’t familiar with his teachings.
He talked about when you succeed in something, you celebrate, but if you fail, then you ponder, you wonder, and the cool part about it is that you actually learn.
So the faster that you can fail, the quicker you’ll be able to learn and answer these questions:
“Well, what did I do?”
“Why didn’t that work?”
“What can I do differently?”
I believe the ultimate success formula is first you try something, then you look back at that result. If you liked the result, simply do more of that. If you didn’t like the result, figure out what you can do differently and keep trying new things until eventually, you like the result.
That’s secretly deep down why I really want you to fail, because by failing that’s how you’re going to learn and grow faster.
I believe you’ll end up succeeding faster if you’re just willing to go out and fail.
So, how fast can you fail?
